When refrigerated, they maintain their large, lively and healthy size for much longer. Refrigerate 2-3 months, store 4-26 deg for up to 4 weeks.

These are a species of Nightcrawler worm primarily bred around the world for premium live fishing bait and pet feed. It out fishes other worm species (even scrub worms) due to their size and liveliness combined with being robust.

Our premium European Nightcrawlers are raised through our specialised commercial lab system, designed to produce large, strong and healthy worms.

Versatile for estuary and freshwater fishing.

Throughout the rest of Australia ENCs have been used for: Redfin, Cobbler, Trout, Golden perch (yellowbelly), Carp, Murray cod, Bass, Silver perch, Bream, Flathead, Estuary perch, Whiting, Mullet, Trevally, Dart and many more!

Also used as a nutrient rich meal for Axolotls.

These are not your standard compost worm; the standard compost worm - red wrigglers are about 3 - 4 times smaller in size and aptly called Eisenia fetida - fetida meaning foul smell, which is an anti-predation adaptation.

Our Nightcrawler’s average between 1.1 -1.65 grams each with the odd one coming in around 1.85 grams or a tad bigger.
